Assessments are made against units of competency from the Certificate III in Community Services CHC32015.

- Facilitate responsible behaviour (CHCCCS009)
- Facilitate the empowerment of older people (CHCAGE001)
- Work with clients who are intoxicated (CHCAOD002)
- Provide needle and syringe services (CHCAOD003)
- Manage personal stressors in the work environment (HLTWHS006)
- Work in an alcohol and other drugs context (CHCAOD001)
- Work with diverse people (CHCDIV001)
- Respond to client needs (CHCCCS016)
- Communicate and work in health or community services (CHCCOM005)
- Conduct individual assessments (CHCCCS005)
- Facilitate the interests and rights of clients (CHCADV001)

Smart and Skilled provides eligible students with:
an entitlement to government-subsidised training up to and including Certificate III
government funding for higher-level courses (Certificate IV and above) in targeted priority areas.
